Job Description


The Field Operations Manager oversees daily operations for all assigned projects and ensures strict adherence to established safety and quality standards. This role involves supervising project resources, managing

project schedules, and maintaining customer relationships. In addition, the  Field Operations Manager is expected to support field labor duties and be knowledgeable about essential project administrative functions, such as updating Excel worksheets and responding to emails.
 
? Oversee the internal workforce assigned to your team, including approval of time cards, employee coaching, and

training.

? Manage all resources effectively to ensure milestone completion within deadlines and adherence to quality

requirements.

? Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for new field employees.

? Ensure project production goals and budget targets are met.

? Liaise with subcontractors to meet resource requirements and project demands.

? Attend and participate in both internal and external meetings, coordinating follow-up activities to align with

project objectives.

? Ensure all projects comply with internal safety policies, OSHA regulations, as well as client, federal, state, and

local municipality standards.

? Monitor contractor progress, conduct contractor quality inspections, and ensure timely completion of assigned

projects.

? Interpret construction documents and drawings.

? Support field crews, providing on-site assistance as necessary for project execution.

? Maintain the construction tracking system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the data entered.

? Manage all assigned projects, including keeping project trackers up-to-date.

? Perform other duties as assigned.

? Exceptional technical communication skills, both verbal and written.

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

? Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance or direction.

? Comfortable working in a self-directed work group and adept at communicating effectively with team members.

? High attention to detail and the ability to analyze problems, prioritize tasks, and lead decision-making processes.

? Understanding of construction practices and ensuring timely close-out and delivery according to the project

schedule.

? Demonstrated entrepreneurial interest and passion for problem-solving, paired with a knack for innovative and

creative solutions.

? Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities.

? A minimum of two years of direct or relevant experience.

? Capable of standing, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 85 pounds.

? Comfortable working in an office environment as well as from a truck on a job site.

? Willingness to travel extensively (up to 100%) and support multiple markets.
