JOB SUMMARY
This individual will be responsible for supporting projects that are high priority and cross functional. The role will both track and execute on such projects, completing key deadlines and utilizing resources efficiently. This cross functional role will be a key contributor in helping the client scale our operations to meet our customer demand
RESPONSIBILITIES
• General working knowledge of the telecommunications standards including but not limited to the GR1275, TP76300 and NSTD.
• Experienced knowledge in all aspects of project management including, quoting, budgeting, scheduling, material procurement, subcontractor contract management, project documentation.
• Responsible for project estimating, including regular bid walks with customers for the purpose of providing a labor and material quote.
• Ability to create a comprehensive budget in conjunction with every client quote.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and develop a project plan based on construction documents such as blue-prints, specs, fiber splicing diagrams, etc.
• Effective client negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Excellent communication/problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of urgency in dealing with client issues.
• Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate closeout documents.
• Identification of right of way and permitting requirements for proposed routes, to include knowledge of design and engineering of final approved projects including final route recommendation, field engineering, permitting requirements, and pole loading.
• Identification of electrical permit requirements and developing a plan to work within NAC standards.
• Ability to manage change orders from subcontractors and ensure change orders submitted to clients comply within contractual parameters.
• Ability to monitor, manage, and develop good working relationships with subcontractors.
• Ability to work reliably under minimum supervision.
• Ability to adapt to new client standards and practices.
• Ability and drive to deliver quality services on time and under budget
• Ability to delegate and manage a cross functional team.
Qualifications:
PREFERRED SKILLS
• General working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and MS Project (or similar scheduling software).
• Construction estimating experience a plus.
• Construction scheduling experience a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Degree in construction, engineering, architecture or similar preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and on-the-job experience.
• Seven or more years of project management in general construction and/or telecommunications-related projects.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
The employee must be able and willing to travel locally to reach customer sites for any project needs. Employee must also be able and willing to travel for any company related meetings. Compliance with all Company safety procedures is a requirement.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a Full-Time Exempt position. Days and hours of work are Generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An appropriate level of communication about expected hours of work between the remote employee and supervisor will be agreed to as part of the discussion process and will be more formal during the trial period. With on call duties as assigned relating to ANS Advanced Network Services user issues after hours’, weekends, and holidays.
