Job Description
The Transport Coordinator will coordinate all activities related to implementation of transport circuits within a given market including but not limited to the following:
- Lead periodic meetings with transport vendor(s) to ensure that circuits are delivered on time
- Work with market deployment team and transport vendor to conduct site visits
- Ensure Telco ready requirements are properly defined for a site
- Work with market deployment team to ensure that NTP is issued to the transport vendor promptly
- Attend deployment meeting regularly to provide updates on transport implementation
- Establish excellent relationship with transport vendor(s) at the market level
- Escalate implementation related issue to leadership team as needed
- Coordinate all circuit design, ordering and testing related activities with transport engineers and provisioners
The successful Transport Coordinator will have:
- 2-4+ years in the Telecom industry
- Basic understanding of wireless data and voice network architecture
- Advanced understanding of transport implementation
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to identify and understand complex problems/issues and develop solutions
- Ability to manage multiple commitments simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to details
- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
- Able to work independently and inside a team
- Bachelor' Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
