Job Description:


Responsibilities
  • Solicit the carriers, site acquisition firms, and other strategic partners at the market level to secure business opportunities.
  • Understand the competition across markets and track key metrics as needed.
  • Market the client's portfolio for collocation opportunities
  • Work closely with the the client's Collocation Manager to track and follow up on incoming collocations.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales on market position and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager(s) on sites that are in real estate or construction phase
  • Identify and proactively seek new business for the client, including opportunities to gain market presence.
  • Seek Built-to-Suit and tower acquisition opportunities.
  • Able to meet and/or exceed established sales performance targets.
  • Focus on developing the clients’s tower portfolio.
  • Serve as a key contact for carriers and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Track market trends and evaluates opportunities for unique or creative approaches to the various markets.
  • Maintain and update files in the document and project tracking databases as required.

Qualifications
 
  • Has 5 to 7 years of sales experience with a proven successful track record.
  • College degree preferred, otherwise relevant and significant work experience may qualify.
  • Experience with writing proposals.
  • Motivated to work hard and take on a variety of work in a mid-size tower company.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests, as well as collaborate with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying high quality solutions
  • Strong ability to follow up on pending items, track project progress and stay current on project status and milestones
  • Clear and concise communication skills, solid business sense and strong presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite – Excel, Word, and Access
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial terms
  • Ability to travel 8 to 10 days per month.
