BIM Coordinator (Data Center | Div 27/28)
Location: Remote (East Coast Preferred) | Occasional Travel to VA/Regional Sites

Broadstaff is recruiting for a leading low-voltage integrator expanding its data center construction division. We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to support Division 27 (Communications) and Division 28 (Electronic Safety & Security) scopes on a large-scale, multi-year data center program.
This is a high-impact coordination role, working closely with internal teams, clients, and trade partners to ensure accurate, clash-free design and execution.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate BIM/VDC efforts across Div 27 & 28 systems

Manage clash detection and coordination with MEP trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing)

Produce and maintain installation-ready drawings and models

Collaborate with project teams, clients, and field personnel

Support RFIs and resolve design conflicts

Maintain model accuracy throughout project lifecycle
Scope Includes
Division 27 (Communications):
-
Structured cabling (fiber & copper)
-
Cable tray and pathway systems
-
IDF/MDF layouts and rack elevations
Division 28 (Security):
-
Access control systems
-
CCTV systems
-
Fire alarm coordination (as required)
Requirements
-
3–7+ years of BIM/VDC coordination experience in construction

Experience coordinating across multiple trades (MEP environment)

Familiarity with low-voltage systems (Div 27/28 preferred)

Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC

Strong communication and coordination skills
Role Details

Compensation: ~$120K–$140K range (flexible based on experience)
