Job Description:
The Construction Manager is a customer facing product specialist. You will bring your wireless construction management / project management experience into play to deliver the client's solutions to customers. The product portfolio that will be supported are:
- 50-ohm connectors
- Antennas
- Digital Electricity
- Distributed Antenna Systems
- Baseband and radio products
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-
- Review designs for feasibility and accuracy in material
- Develop detailed bills of material
- Assist in the creation of project scope and objectives
- Conduct both in-building and outdoor site walks
- Create project plans, track progress and drive resources to meet commitments
- Actively manage the cleint's relationships during construction while providing oversight of contractors
- Review project contracts and ensure project is delivered according to the contract
Requirements:
-
- 5+ years of application experience with distributed antenna systems, repeaters, and public safety RF networks
- Must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of:
- Testing optical networks – OTDR testing
- Spectrum analyzer use with ability to read and evaluate results
- Analyzing cable PIM and sweep test results
- Knowledge of National Electrical Codes (NEC), Motorola R56 standards, and telecommunication installation best practices
- PMP Certification
- Basic RF knowledge
Preferred Skills:
-
- Working knowledge of 4G and 5G radio access network operation and performance optimization is a plus
- Experience with iBwave In-Building Design Software is a plus
- Strong verbal and written English communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a demanding, results-driven environment
Physical Requirements:
-
- Ability to climb stairs, step ladders and vertical ladders, access elevated catwalks, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work on flat roofs as required.
