Location: Dallas, TX (4 days on-site, 1 remote day)

A rapidly growing, construction-oriented services organization is seeking an experienced Director of HR to lead the HR function, support large-scale workforce growth, and strengthen people operations across diverse field and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HR function and drive strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage, coach, and develop the HR team (HR Manager, HRBP, Coordinator, Recruiters).
- Build and improve HR processes, policies, onboarding, and performance management programs.
- Oversee compensation strategy across varied operational teams and roles.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws; manage employee relations and risk mitigation.
- Partner with payroll and finance teams; use ADP and financial reporting tools.
- Champion an on-site culture of accountability, attendance, and high performance.
- Handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
Requirements
- Senior HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, multi-discipline organization (construction/field service experience a plus).
- Strong strategic thinking, operational execution, and leadership maturity.
- Expertise in compensation strategy, HR process optimization, and high-volume workforce support.
- Proficiency with ADP and experience working with financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills; able to address complex issues directly and diplomatically.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certifications preferred.
Work Environment
- On-site in Dallas four days per week (Wednesday or Friday optional remote day).
- High expectations for ownership, follow-through, and problem-solving.
Compensation
- Salary: $130-150KÂ depending on experience.
- 20% annual bonus.
