Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Field Services to oversee operations across the Texas market. This individual will lead day-to-day regional field operations — including installations, maintenance, and customer service work — while driving performance, safety, and customer satisfaction across multiple locations. The Director will be accountable for regional workforce leadership, subcontractor oversight, and meeting fulfillment KPIs.

This role requires strong field leadership, a hands-on approach, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients. The Director will work closely with the VP of Field Services and other regional leaders to execute on national fulfillment strategy while tailoring execution to the Texas market.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all field service operations within Texas: installations, disconnects, reconnects, and service calls.

  • Lead and support regional managers, field supervisors, and technicians across multiple cities.

  • Ensure daily field activities are executed with safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

  • Implement standardized processes, reporting structures, and operational best practices.

  • Manage performance metrics: technician productivity, on-time service, quality control, and customer satisfaction.

  • Hire, coach, and develop team members while holding them accountable to goals.

  • Monitor local market trends, resource needs, and customer feedback to adapt strategy.

  • Coordinate closely with the VP of Field Services to align on goals, budgets, staffing, and compliance.

  • Maintain and enforce safety and regulatory standards across all operations.

  • Act as the point of escalation for customer or field issues in the Texas region.
Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in field service or fulfillment operations, preferably in the cable/telecom industry.

  • 3+ years of experience managing regional teams or field crews.

  • Deep understanding of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting workflows.

  • Skilled in performance management, workforce scheduling, and logistics.

  • Strong leadership presence and ability to motivate technicians and supervisors.

  • Experience working with subcontractors and W2 workforces.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Proficient in workforce management software and tools (e.g., dispatch, CRM, routing).

  • Must be willing to travel regionally as needed throughout Texas.
Preferred

  • Experience managing large-scale field operations in the cable/broadband or fiber space.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a high-growth or startup environment is a bonus.
