Job Description


Responsibilities:
  • Part of a team working with advanced technology to provide customers access to various network components including 5G systems.
  • Responsible for technical oversight of transport network deliveries for In-Building solutions and Venues.
  • Projects focus on expanding the Build Plan using EBH, dark fiber, local ISP, and microwave for transport.
  • Design and implementation of equipment and infrastructure supporting In-Building and Venue projects.
  • Collaboration with local markets on designing and implementing transport technologies supporting 5G network rollout and existing 4G LTE infrastructure.
  • Utilization of an internal database to document fiber assets and design end-to-end circuit paths.
  • Development and maintenance of circuit delivery schedules, actively managing vendors to meet deliverables.
  • Running utilization reports to evaluate capacity and issuing design changes for optimal network performance.
  • Collaboration with Network planning for strategic initiatives and future technology solutions.
  • Coordination with other network groups to ensure projects align with company objectives.
  • Management of monthly capital spending to align with forecasted spend and project timelines.
  • Completion of transport-related milestones using engineering tools.
  • Providing technical expertise in IP assignment and understanding ISP and EBH specifications.
  • Experience with ISP to EBH conversions and disconnecting old services.
  • Analysis of cost and time related to different backhaul solutions to deliver high-quality service for Business Customers.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
  • More than 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Construction and Transport management experience.
  • Experience with ISP, EBH, Microwave, Inside, and Outside Plant.
  • Proficiency in office computer applications: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience in designing, ordering, managing, and delivering Fronthaul and Backhaul Circuits.

  • Experience in telecommunications/data networking or wireless industry.
  • Experience in 5G network architecture and equipment.
  • Management of large-scale projects interfacing between multiple teams.
  • Vendor management, equipment ordering, and forecasting experience.
  • Reading, understanding, and commenting on construction drawings.
  • Experience in 4G network architecture, CRAN architecture, and equipment.
  • Experience driving troubleshooting efforts.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
