Fiber Service Technician – Contract
Company: Broadstaff
Location: Culver City, CA (Non-Remote)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM + On-Call Rotation
Contract Length: 6 months
Job Summary
Broadstaff is seeking Fiber Service Technicians to support fiber internet installations and service activations for a leading internet provider. This is a customer-facing field role focused on structured residential fiber installs, network connectivity, and basic troubleshooting.

Job Summary
Broadstaff is seeking Fiber Service Technicians to support fiber internet installations and service activations for a leading internet provider. This is a customer-facing field role focused on structured residential fiber installs, network connectivity, and basic troubleshooting.
Responsibilities

Perform fiber service activations and installations (FTTH)
-
Install fiber drops from handhole to home with supervision
-
Connect, test, and maintain fiber network components
-
Perform basic troubleshooting from handhole to NID/home
-
Build splice domes and assist with drop and mainline processes
-
Interact professionally with customers during installations
-
Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every other week)

Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications
-
2 plus years of experience as a fiber installer, splicing.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-
Ability to work outdoors, on ladders up to 35’, and lift up to 75 lbs
-
Comfortable working in confined spaces
-
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
