The Role:
We are seeking a Head of Data Center Engineering & Operations to lead engineering and facilities operations at our Dallas data center. This hands-on leadership role ensures 24/7 uptime, safety, and operational excellence for mission-critical systems. You will manage a local engineering team, oversee maintenance and construction, and implement SOPs to deliver reliability for high-performance compute customers.

The Role:
We are seeking a Head of Data Center Engineering & Operations to lead engineering and facilities operations at our Dallas data center. This hands-on leadership role ensures 24/7 uptime, safety, and operational excellence for mission-critical systems. You will manage a local engineering team, oversee maintenance and construction, and implement SOPs to deliver reliability for high-performance compute customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop facilities engineering team.
- Oversee electrical, mechanical, and plumbing infrastructure (UPS, generators, chillers, HVAC).
- Manage vendors, contractors, and on-site staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Drive process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in large-scale, mission-critical data center operations; 3+ years in leadership.
- Expertise in electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, chillers).
- Strong knowledge of redundancy (N+1, 2N) and failover.
- Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Certifications (CFM, PMP), colocation experience.
