  • Experienced Industrial Electrician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Assembling and Installing Traffic Signal Poles and overhead traffic signals, Overhead Signs, pedestrian features, and other related Signal components.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.

  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work Cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • Multitask
  • Have knowledge of NEC
  • Proficient at Blueprint reading
  • Understanding one-line diagrams and PLC’s
  • Class A CDL Required

Physical Demands:
  • Safe worker with clean driving record
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability and visual acuity.

Qualifications:
  • Electrical experience 3+ years
  • EOE/DFWP

Physical Demands

Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, driving, operating equipment, and lifting at least 50lbs.
