Job Description
Cell sites are pretty important to support our most reliable and fastest network. That’s where you come in. You’ll work with Network Engineering, Vendors, GCs to project manage a variety of projects and assist with data entry.
-Project Manage Cell Site Upgrades with our newest technologies
- Work closely with other Network teams in RF Design, Operations, Real Estate, Construction, Facilities and System Performance
- Implement new technologies and services to meet project milestones.
- Responsible for assisting in construction engineering of all projects in the New York Metro market.
-Analyze data to assist with process efficiency
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
- Organized and capable of tracking multiple projects and status.
-Experience in engineering/construction with implementation of Samsung or Nokia cellular equipment, power plant systems and various antenna systems.
- Experience with project tracking in various databases.
- Experience forecasting future project needs, working with Vendors to ensure timely updates.
- Experience determining construction timelines/costs associated with projects.
- Experience coordinating with Landlords/Property Managers as well as internal PM's.
- Experience managing supplier relationships to meet targeted network milestones and turn-up dates.
- Experience creating standards documents and ensure vendor compliance.
- Experience designing, procuring and managing construction of new cell sites.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Capable of working with excel sheets and organizing data to help interpret project needs.
- Reporting skills.
- Project management skills
- Equipped to function at a high level in our fast-paced, ever changing environment.
JOB DUTIES:
The selected contractor will be working on both SNAP and C-Band sites. He/She will be responsible for various Network projects and ensuring all information is captured and flowing. He/She will be working hand in hand with a few client Project managers. They will also interface with our GC's and Landlords. Contractor will also be required to work across other Client Network teams to ensure proper communication of project details and to ensure timely action for each project. The Project Manager will need to be extremely organized and familiar with the architecture of cell sites to ensure the site/project is properly & efficiently attended to.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
A valid driver's license.
