Key Details:
Position: ISP/OSP Construction Manager - MDU
Location: Minneapolis, MN market
Travel: Local site visits
Vehicle: Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed
Pay: $40-$43/hr. DOE (negotiable)
Type: Full-Time | W2 | Contract-to-Hire

Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in fiber construction (OSP/ISP) with proven MDU experience.
  • Strong vendor/lifecycle management and field leadership across multiple concurrent addresses.
  • Hands-on with QA/punch/closeout (as-builts/redlines, photo documentation, OTDR/OLTS results management).
  • Practical knowledge of permits/inspections, 811 locates, DOT/power coordination.
  • Proficiency with plans, redlines, and trackers (Excel/Smartsheet/Procore or similar).
  • Excellent communication with customers, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Local residency and a personal vehicle for daily site travel (mileage reimbursed).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day MDU fiber builds (OSP/ISP interfaces, risers/backbone, entries, drops, terminations).
  • Coordinate and manage vendors/crews; track progress, quality, safety, and costs; escalate roadblocks.
  • Implement and enforce QA procedures, punch lists, and closeout packages (as-builts, photos, test results).
  • Run schedules and implementation plans; report status, risks, and KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Order/track/schedule materials and jobs; keep documentation current and accurate.
  • Coordinate locates (811), DOT, and power companies; support permitting and inspections.
  • Ensure regulatory and company policy compliance from pre-con through launch.
