Position Title: Make Ready / Joint Use Engineer
Pay Range: $65-80k per year
Employment Type: Full time, Direct Hire
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have Direct Joint Use / Make Ready exp.
- Design power make ready solutions according to NESC and RUS standards.
- Compile, review, and refine work order maps and design orders from both internal sources and contractors.
- Develop detailed and optimized make-ready schedules that outline the necessary steps and timelines for preparing shared utility infrastructure to accommodate new installations or modifications.
- Generate accurate and timely invoices considering project milestones, service agreements, and cost allocation.
- Performs engineering calculations to support the planning, designing, and implementation of joint use projects.
- Able to act in both an administrative and engineering capacity to meet the needs of the organization.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Katapult or other Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and their application in engineering projects.
- Familiarity with O’Calc or other pole loading software.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred but not required.
