Key Details:
  • Position: NOC Manager
  • Type: Direct Hire | W2 | Full-Time
  • Location: Montana preferred | Remote considered within Mountain Time Zone
  • Travel: Ability to travel to Montana as needed to support the NOC and team
  • Compensation: $80K-$110K/year | Negotiable, depending on experience

Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of NOC / Network Operations experience, including leadership or supervisory experience in a 24×7 operations environment
  • Background supporting telecom, ISP, fiber network, managed services, or data center infrastructure
  • Experience managing incident response, outage resolution, escalation workflows, and operational SLAs
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing / ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, improve processes, and build operational standards in a NOC environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of IP networking, telecommunications systems, and network monitoring tools

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a 24×7 Network Operations Center supporting telecom, network, managed services, and data center infrastructure
  • Own the end-to-end incident management lifecycle in ServiceNow, including detection, triage, escalation, resolution, and closure
  • Oversee real-time monitoring of network, telecommunications, managed services, and data center systems
  • Manage and mentor a multi-shift NOC team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Lead major incident response and coordinate with engineering, field operations, and vendors to restore service quickly
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, escalation procedures, and operational standards aligned with ITIL best practices
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs related to uptime, response time, and service restoration
  • Coordinate field technician dispatch, vendor support, and data center personnel when remote remediation is not possible
  • Produce and analyze operational reports and metrics (MTTR, incident trends, SLA performance) to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with carriers, ISPs, infrastructure teams, and vendors to maintain network reliability and uptime
