Job Description
Planning, design, and analysis of the outside plant facilities/network. Performs detailed review of high level designs, and low level design of feeder and distribution for major undertakings and /or routine activities.

Provides detailed design for feeder and distribution facilities to meet major fiber build projects. Conducts job costing activities. Requires understanding of outside plant build, installation, and maintenance. Monitors expenditures to ensure incurred costs are within authorized levels. Investigates and supplements cost overruns. May be responsible for the coordination of construction budget and project management activities. May be responsible for right of way functions. Evaluates multiple factors to develop creative practical solutions. Guided by project and work deadlines; sets own priorities. Uses discretion to complete assignments.
