Outside Plant Supervisor (OSP)
Broadstaff is hiring an Outside Plant Supervisor (OSP) to support large-scale fiber network construction projects across Oklahoma. This role will oversee daily field operations, manage subcontractor crews, and ensure fiber deployments are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating crews performing fiber construction using directional boring, plowing, aerial, and other outside plant installation methods.

Compensation

$90,000 – $100,000 annual compensation

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day OSP fiber construction operations
-
Manage subcontractor crews and field technicians
-
Conduct daily crew meetings and coordinate work assignments

Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA, DOT, local regulations)

Monitor subcontractor performance against schedule, scope, and quality

Oversee installation from design handoff through construction and final as-builts

Review and redline work prints and construction documentation

Coordinate materials and equipment required for projects

Support testing, closeout documentation, and project reporting

Maintain project schedules and status updates for management
Qualifications
-
Experience supervising fiber optic outside plant construction
-
Strong knowledge of fiber deployment methods (boring, plowing, aerial)

Experience managing subcontractor crews and field teams

Ability to read and interpret construction prints and network documentation

Strong organizational and leadership skills
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred

Experience supporting large-scale fiber deployment projects

Fiber certification (CFOT or similar)

Prior telecom construction management experience
Work Environment

Combination of office, field, and travel across job sites

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Occasional after-hours call-outs or emergency response

Ability to work in active construction environments
