Key Qualifications:
- Experience in fiber or OSP permitting and right-of-way (ROW) coordination across multiple jurisdictions.
- Deep familiarity with the Phoenix, AZ market, including experience with Maricopa County, Chandler, Gilbert, and SRP.
- Proven ability to manage the end-to-end permitting lifecycle, from initial submittals and resubmittals to final approvals and closeouts.
- Demonstrated expertise in reviewing engineering prints and permit packages to catch errors upfront, preventing 6–8-week rejection cycles.
- Experience holding General Contractors (GCs) and engineering vendors accountable for submittal quality and timelines.
- An assertive yet professional communication style, capable of escalating issues appropriately while maintaining strong relationships with municipal agencies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing high-volume permit tracking and status reporting.
- Understanding of OSP design and fiber construction impacts on permitting, with exposure to project tracking tools like Vertruvi.
