Position Title: Outside Plant (OSP) QA/QC Lineman
Location: Huntsville, AL - (local candidates)
Pay: $28 - $32/hr, depending on experience
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Our client provides full-service construction, repair and emergency services related to Cable TV, Telephone, Fiber-Optic communications, and Power construction including underground trenching, plowing, missiles and directional boring and aerial construction, and are looking for a QC Lineman to join their team.

Our client provides full-service construction, repair and emergency services related to Cable TV, Telephone, Fiber-Optic communications, and Power construction including underground trenching, plowing, missiles and directional boring and aerial construction, and are looking for a QC Lineman to join their team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Telecommunication infrastructure, including fiber optics, coaxial cables, and copper wiring.
- Experience in Telecom, Utility, Construction, or Engineering industries.
- Ability to read blueprints and splicing diagrams.
- Hands on experience with cable splicing and termination.
- Experience with aerial lift equipment is highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
- Quality control repairs of Aerial and Underground (UG) plant after initial construction.
- Position requires operation of a Bucket truck following all safety and traffic regulations (after passing safety course).
- Assisting with items found to not meet quality standards, for example:
- Coax splicing
- Snowshoes
- Ped and ground rod placements
- Riser guards, Anchors, Guys, etc.
- Climbing poles/ladder use is required.
- Must operate hand and power tools of all types.
- Ensuring all work is done according to quality standards.
