Must have Practical and academic use of AutoCAD 

 

Product: They automate 90% of the workflow for AE firms when it comes to CAD and permitting drawings.  

 

Automate all the extraction of information they have into CAD files so people dont have to copy and paste into different files. Generate some of the line work and or flag for the designers to complete the drawings.  

 

Experience in FTTH and FTTP, wireless, small cell,

Key Responsibilities
? Serve as subject matter expert on AutoCAD for internal process improvements
? Provide drafting support for building templates, CAD libraries, and supporting other
internal initiatives.

Must haves
? Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or other related field.
? Professional certification in AutoCAD (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, Certified Drafting Technician, or Certified Design Drafter) required.
? Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software with a minimum of [5] years of experience in drafting.
? Minimum of [3] years experience drafting for wireless telecommunications projects.
? Thorough understanding of industry standard drafting principles, techniques, and practices.
? Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
? Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Nice to Have
? Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit).
? Familiarity with the permitting workflow including checking building codes and
regulations, GIS software, and jurisdiction submittal requirements.
? Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a drafting team.
