We are looking for a Survey Party Chief with 1+ years of experience operating robotic total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment.
Pay Rate: 22-5
100% travel between KY, IL, OH, WV, VA, TN, MS & AL.
Job Description:
- Field note reduction and in-depth plan interpretation.
- Knowledge of the principles of the profession and various technical standards.
- Working knowledge of how to operate, check and perform basic field adjustments on rods, levels, tribrachs, robotic total stations, data collectors, tripods and GPD equipment.
- Download field data into computers.
- Ability to work as a one-man crew.
- Regular travel required.
- Able to work overtime.
- Maintain all survey supplies.
- Search for sections corners, property corners and survey points.
- Public records research.
- AutoCAD or Carlson Survey experience a plus.
- Engineering and/or Surveying degree a plus.
Requirements:
- Survey Crew Chief: A minimum experience of 1 year in land surveying including knowledge of topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking. Existing knowledge of GPS equipment and Robotic Total Stations a plus. Work will be mainly performed in the wireless telecommunications industry. This is a position that requires overnight travel on a consistent basis.
