Job Description 
Our client is looking for a Sustainability Project Manager to enforce sustainability efforts and social responsibility throughout their projects nationwide by way of monitoring utility consumption and driving results through process modification and implementation. 

Duties and Responsibilities 
The sustainability manager oversees the implementation of sustainability strategies during the construction projects. This relates to the environmental impacts of the work being carried out, to ensure that the project adheres to the most economically and environmentally friendly methods possible. The work requires an understanding of green building and social responsibility practices, energy efficiency improvement strategies, and working experience managing ESG initiatives. 

The role responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Monitoring utility consumption and creating processes for results
  • Working with third party vendors to analyze utility reports 
  • Manage utility implementation - identify modifications
  • Tracking the project's carbon footprint 
  • Tuning into supply chain management practices (toxic waste disposal plans, shipping & packaging)

A successful Sustainability Project Manager will have:
  • 5+ years project management experience; ideally in construction and large scale programs
  • 5+ years in sustainability
  • The ability to thrive in a start-up environment with significant ambiguity and challenging problems inherent in building a greenfield, stand-alone 5G network, including ownership of policy development
  • Executive presence with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience of culture keeping and message ownership

Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree preferred
