$150,000–$200,000 base + bonus
Broadstaff is partnering with a fast?scaling infrastructure and construction services organization to hire a Vice President, Automation & Digital. This is a business operator role, not traditional IT.
The VP will architect and operationalize the digital backbone across multiple operating entities, transforming fragmented systems into a scalable, enterprise?grade platform that drives growth, margin expansion, and Tier?1 customer readiness.

What You’ll Own
- Define and execute an enterprise automation and digital strategy
- Consolidate and standardize platforms across:
- ERP / Financials
- Project Management
- Engineering / GIS
- Workforce & HR systems
- Data & analytics
- Design and deploy automation and AI across key workflows:
- Estimating & bid support
- QA/QC & field validation
- Project tracking & forecasting
- Resource planning
- Build a single source of truth for project performance, cost, and margin
- Lead build vs. buy decisions and vendor strategy
- Own cybersecurity and enterprise compliance readiness
- Partner closely with executive leadership, finance, engineering, and field operations
Who This Role Is For
- 10+ years in digital transformation, automation, or enterprise systems leadership
- Experience scaling platforms in multi?entity or high?growth environments
- Background in construction, telecom, engineering, or field?based operations strongly preferred
- Operator mindset — execution?focused, pragmatic, and business?driven
- Comfortable building from ambiguity and scaling toward enterprise readiness and exit
