This position is responsible for providing support to the Scoping Logistics and Construction Wireless Implementation team during the deployment of several large, complex projects (Small Cells, CPN, FWA, MVNO, etc). Wireless Implementation projects are temporary endeavors with a defined beginning and end and are usually constrained by time and resources. The candidate will have a proven ability to partner with project stakeholders, customers, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to support in successfully meet project schedules. They will use industry recognized and generally accepted project management knowledge, skills, tools and communications to achieve a project’s stated objectives. 
 
MAJOR TASKS 

  • Work closely with leadership on process improvements for the overall Wireless Implementation team

  • Support the PMs, CMs and suppliers to provide support in activities and updates related to Scoping, Logistics and Construction. 

  • Analyze and create standardized reports to help simply and understand different cost structures

  • Review the Bill Of Materials (BOM) and create requisitions into Cox systems and communicate to the suppliers and internal teams.

  • Work with team to create bid packages to send to GC’s and support in communication to the questions GC’s might have during the bidding process

  • Review and analyze each GC bid and/or Change Order associated with the project

  • Support project schedules and status reports; tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet construction schedule; update project schedules and documents in SiteTracker

  • Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings; document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

  • Develop methods and procedures for shortening timeline to deliver completed sites

  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
 

QUALIFICATIONS
 
REQUIRED

  • 2+ years of telecom project management experience 

  • Demonstrate Customer service orientation with a strong and creative problem-solving approach 

  • Ability to organize and prioritize activities

  • Strong skills in MS-Project, Visio, Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required, with the ability to become proficient in other software tools and databases

  • Must maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.

  • Strong follow-through and ability to implement tasks

  • Team player with a high-energy level and diligent work ethic

  • Proficiency in interpretation of technical, engineering and scope of work documents.

  • Maintains & verifies accuracy of project data in the corporate systems

  • Ability to perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

PREFERRED

  • Knowledge of Site Tracker and/or other project databases

  • Ability to be analytical.

  • Have some Wireless and/or construction knowledge
